Andy Cushman is LAZ Parking’s General Manager who directly oversees the daily operations and employee relations for all of LAZ Parking’s Healthcare Services in the Southwest Region, multiple municipal operations in San Diego and Las Vegas, and a variety of other locations throughout San Diego County. Andy is the primary point of contact for clients to ensure all operations are exceeding expectations. Andy began his career as a valet parker back in 1998 and worked his way up within the ranks of Sunset Parking and then LAZ Parking. Since that time, he has worked in multiple capacities, gained experience in almost every parking silo, and directly managed multiple large accounts. Some of Andy’s beginning operations included the Prado restaurant in Balboa Park as well as Children’s Hospital.
Andy has gained countless experience in all aspects of parking from the commercial garage, hospitality, medical, public, government, self-parking, and special events. He is also well versed in the various parking technology available and strives to find ways to integrate. Recently he has played a key role in automating a major healthcare campus and creating SOP’s that have increased revenues over previous results by over 50%. Andy was also intermetal in the opening of a new operation for LAZ at Hoover Dam where LAZ is responsible for booth parking and tour sales. He has also worked closely with his team at California State Parks to push revenue upwards of $5 million per year. He will bring more than 22 years of dedicated and proven experience to ensure the success of the any parking operation.
